Details below relate to the past event in April 2017

Sasha "Sashi" Perdigao did her first cosplay in 2003, and attended her first anime convention, Anime North, in Toronto, Canada.  After her first experience cosplaying she was hooked and taught herself how to sew and create her own costumes.

During the following years Sashi was the first (and sometimes only) cosplayer to attend rAge JHB every year, and won her first cosplay competition at rAge in 2005, where she cosplayed as Fuu from Samurai Champloo.

In 2007 Sashi created the ever growing "Cosplay South Africa" facebook group and was the co-founder of the "Cosplay Cape Town" facebook group in 2011, which hosts several cosplay picnics throughout the year. While Sashi is no longer part of the organising committee, the cosplay picnics in Kirstenbosch Gardens continue to attract large numbers of cosplayers.

Sashi worked as an advisor to the Free Comic Book Day cosplay events in Cape Town, organised by Readers Den Comic Shop, from 2013-2015, serving as a judge for the 2013 and 2014 cosplay competitions, and co-ordinating the masquerade for the 2015 event. She also helped organise and judge the cosplay competition at the first Electronic & Gaming Expo ( EGE ) event in 2015 as well as being a judge at the first FanCon in 2016.

Anzel ( Baka Sakura ) Schultz is a Cape Town cosplayer that has been part of the cosplay and geek community for many years. She has won 1st place (Anime category) in rAge's Cosplay Competition in 2013, and has placed twice (Top 10) in Readers Den Comic Shop's Free Comic Book Day cosplay competitions in 2013 and 2014. She has also been a judge for the Electronic & Gaming Expo ( EGE ) 2015, rAge 2014 & 2015 and UCON 2014, as well as the MC for UCON 2015 and rAge 2015. She owns an online local cosplay store, Doki Doki Cosplay, and her constant craving for candy coated easter eggs is insatiable.
